So along with the post I'm about to do on the robot from Sparkfun, I wanted to show something that I came across on twitter and thought would be a good project to do.  It's called Cannybots.

Here's the video:

  1. I looked a little deeper and found that there is there are laser cutter and 3D printed versions of this. Very cool. I think you like things that move, Cynthia.

  2. Yes, that's the idea, if I understand you correctly. I got right in touch with the cannybot folks in UK, they told me to stop by and they would give me a cannybot as a gift, but I told them it wouldn't really be convenient to do that....They gave me the link to their github so that I can print the whole business at the generator. How cool is that? Yeah, I like moving stuff in part because I have seen how much the students engage with it. It's a sure hit.

  3. Oh, forgot to mention that I just have to purchase the bluebrain. Also, having trouble getting Blogger to accept my links as links. They only go through as text. I realize that I'm using the free version.....perhaps that is why....

  4. Blogger only has a a free version. Here is a little trick I use. (Compose in Google Docs which will turn your link into links, and then copy and paste some your text into your blog post).
